Prior to attending law school, Elie Zwiebel taught a variety of subjects and a diversity of students in the Detroit Area, Chicago, Portland, Shenzhen, and Nanjing. After spending years training with movement lawyering organizations, students' rights groups, and various forms of legal practices or agencies, Elie has provided zealous representation to students and their families in Colorado schools and courts since 2017.

Before law school, Lynnie Lucas worked in corporate marketing and strategic communications. She shifted her focus to education and youth rights in 2021, interning at Disability Law Colorado and Elie Zwiebel Law. Over years of training with disability and youth rights advocates, Lynnie began providing zealous representation to young people in Colorado schools in 2024 as associate attorney at Elie Zwiebel Law. 

Anna is an attorney at SDA, where she represents young people and their families in special education and school discipline matters. After undergrad at Brown University, she attended law school at the University of Virginia. In law school, she worked in the Youth Advocacy Clinic at the Legal Aid Justice Center and represented clients in the Holistic Youth Defense Clinic. In May 2025, Anna was awarded the Powell Fellowship in Legal Services, enabling her to provide free legal representation to clients of SDA from 2025-2027. 

Halle Collins serves as the administrative support at Student Defense Alliance, where she keeps the organization running smoothly behind the scenes, ensuring every effort stays focused on the students at its heart. Driven by a deep commitment to advocacy, she takes pride in helping connect young people with the legal support they need to stay in school and keep moving forward. Halle is originally from California and went to college in Texas before moving to Colorado in 2021.
